Research Note Hipparcos photometry: The least variable stars
The data known as the Hipparcos Photometry obtained with the Hipparcossatellite have been investigated to find those stars which are leastvariable. Such stars are excellent candidates to serve as standards forphotometric systems. Their spectral types suggest in which parts of theHR diagrams stars are most constant. In some cases these values stronglyindicate that previous ground based studies claiming photometricvariability are incorrect or that the level of stellar activity haschanged. Table 2 is only available in electronic form at the CDS viaanonymous ftp to cdsarc.u-strasbg.fr (130.79.128.5) or viahttp://cdsweb.u-strasbg.fr/cgi-bin/qcat?J/A+A/367/297

Radial-velocity measurements. V - Ground support of the HIPPARCOS satellite observation program
The paper presents data on 1070 radial velocity measurements of starsdistributed in 39 fields measuring 4 deg x 4 deg. The PPO series ofFehrenbach et al. (1987) and Duflot et al. (1990) is continued using theFehrenbach objective prism method.

Radial velocities in selected B-G stars
Spectroscopic observations of a sample of nearby B-G stars are reported. The observations were obtained at resolution 19 km/s in the spectralregion near the 448.1228-nm line of Mg II using a CCD-detectorspectrograph on the coude-feed telescope at KPNO on April 16-20, 1986.The data are presented in extensive tables and briefly characterized.

Objective-prism discoveries in the northern sky. I
Attention is given to 175 northern hemisphere stars whose newlyrecognized peculiar, or otherwise prepossessing characteristics havebeen noted in a preliminary inspection of moderate dispersion objectiveprism plates. The plates were obtained with a 10-deg prism. The starlist gives HD or BD, alpha and delta values, magnitude, and type.

Double star observations made with the 28-inch refractor 1963-1970.
